When packing for a trip, tuck some crumpled tissues or paper (white only) spritzed with your favorite perfume around your clothing so it arrives at your destination prettily scented and ready-to-wear.

My family and I have been frequenting Il Fornaio for years, mostly because it's an inexpensive gem of a hole-in-the-wall that's nothing like the overpriced tourist traps that make up the bulk of the restaurants on the Mulberry strip.
My First Banh Mi Made Me Very Happy
I've never eaten banh mi before. Shameful, I know. Happily, I corrected that little problem earlier this afternoon at Baoguette, a Vietnamese sandwich shop in Gramercy that Kendrick frequents for lunch.
Chicken w/ White Wine, Peas & Shallots
Very excellent, flavorful stuff, and very easy - about 35 minutes start-to-finish, and about $20 for the whole shebang (serves 2 with potential for leftovers).
Stovetop Steak
Last night I was sans husband, so I decided to make my favorite favorite favorite meal: Steak 'n' Potatoes For One. I love this meal, and I love it my way: extremely salty, buttery and garlicky. I also want to eat it all, which is why I prefer to make it when no one else is around.
