We may have gotten a bit over-excited and partaken enthusiastically of the Chang beer during the evening pictured at left. Fortunately, the very next morning we were introduced to the wonders of congee...more or less a hangover cure in a bowl.

All of the cheeses we sampled at Casellula last night were excellent - seriously, you must go to this place if you live in the area (Midtown West) - but I need you to try the one pictured above, second from bottom.
At Casellula last night, Dad and I tried - and loved - this appetizer, but we both thought that it actually worked better as an unusual, mild dessert. We set it aside, ate through our cheese and charcuterie, and finished off the meal with the sweet, honey-and-lemon soaked ricotta.
