The fact that the food at The Water's Edge is, despite appearances, practically inedible, and yet we're still willing to make the trek back for a repeat visit speaks volumes about the place's absolutely incomparable location and fantastic service.

Perfect Summer Sandwich
This delicious - and healthy! - combo, discovered at the launch for Sally Hansen Natural Beauty (writeup on Nadine Jolie to come), couldn't be easier...or more perfect for a picnic in the park.
All you have to do? Smear multigrain bread with a little walnut (or regular) pesto and a generous heaping of goat cheese, and then pile on some avocado slices, a few arugula leaves, and a sprinkling of chopped celery. Light, fresh, and fantastic.
