Yesterday was a good day. I found out that I won two tickets to a Casa Dragones tequila tasting from Tasting Table. This was awesome for two reasons: 1) free booze (always yay!) and 2) the event took place aboard The Freedom, a “beautifully restored, classic 1926 104-foot Mathis-Trumpy Fantail Motor Yacht.”

I approached yesterday's chocolate zucchini cake with my standard ill-advised mindset (meh, I don't have a bundt pan, I'll just use two square pans and adjust the baking time; meh, I only have 1 1/2 cups of regular sugar, let's just top it off with some superfine)...but, miracle of miracles, it turned out wonderfully.
