Hey-o.
The major problem with this weather is that it makes me hate my dogs, and they didn't do anything to me except for look cute and need to pee in a place that is not my floor.
But cold weather does have its benefits, and one major one is that you get to make things like mulled wine and call it "cooking" (what? you do it on a stove).
Making a few batches of these is a holiday tradition for me, because they're easy, they're delicious, and the potential uses are endless.
It was just me and dad, driving with the top down and talking about all sorts of stuff, or nothing at all. Drinking tequila-oyster shooters standing up at a bar in New Orleans...
They say that trying to cook with a newborn is a total lost cause, but I haven't actually found that to be true. You just have to be...flexible.
