Naavale Designs (whose illustrations you might recognize from my book announcement post, and who is working with me on a brand-new logo for the Ramshackle Glam site redesign - coming soon) has just launched an adorable line of baby announcement story cards.

The unique, customized designs (two of my favorites are pictured above) allow you to go beyond the standard name/date/weight info - you get to share exactly what you want, whether that's the birth story, the meaning behind the baby's name, or something unique about the day he or she was born - and can be printed out at home or shared online. All you have to do is email the info via the Etsy order form, and you'll receive a preview in 2-3 days (and then a hi-res, ready-to-print file upon approval).

I first learned about Michael Aram's nature-inspired serving and dinnerware while registering for my wedding and concurrently learning a little something unexpected about my fiance: apparently Kendrick has a real thing for cutlery shaped like branches. I didn't think he had any particular thing for cutlery of any kind, period, but no: he really likes Michael Aram pieces.
