Fave Emmy Gowns

1. Katie Holmes in Calvin Klein (love the color, the simplicity, the makeup/hair...everything)

2. Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang (yes yes, she always does "sexy," but wow)

3. Kelly Osbourne in J. Mendel (beautiful and elegant; what I wish Nicole Kidman's 2003 Oscars dress had looked like)

A Little Early Christmas Shopping

Three bucks at TJ Maxx; couldn't resist.

Christmas shopping for someone who will be two months old during the holidays is a funny thing. Do I...hide stuff? ...Wrap it? I think the answers are "not really" and "why not?"

Lunch

What?

(I added Fluffernutter for protein.)

Related: I am someone who can eat entire jars of pickles in a single sitting, and have even been known to whip up my own...and I have not wanted one single pickle for the duration of this pregnancy. This, to me, feels like a missed opportunity and a tragedy of epic proportions.

Profile: Sasha Rhett Toile Collection

When I first laid eyes on Sasha Rhett's sweet Toile Collection, I was intrigued, mostly because...well, they're lovely, and neatly combine elegance and versatility with a relaxed vibe. But then I found out that the woman behind the watches, Alexandra Daum, is a fellow Harvard grad ('10) who started creating her own collection because she recognized a need for classic - but still affordable - women's timepieces...and that she did this while still taking classes during her senior year.

So I had to ask her a few questions. Namely...how did she do that?

Ramshackle Glam: So seriously: how did you do that? Start up your own company designing watches while still a student?
