This is what I've been doing lately when I feel like going a little more dramatic than my usual top-lid-liner-only look.
I'm a big white-in-the-winter person (as we saw yesterday)...a big white-all-year-round person, actually.
Really: is the "don't wear white after Labor Day" even a thing, anymore?
I don't think so.
A couple of years ago, my friend Stephen and I were hanging out on a cold winter day, complaining about the weather and how we didn't want to go outside or do anything, really, except for stay right where we were on the couch, and he said, "You know what? Enough of this hating-winter stuff. We should make some hot chocolate."
Remember last week, when I talked about the days when I would spend Saturday mornings at thrift shops with my best friend and return home with some truly spectacular finds...and how sometimes it's nice to hold onto those finds, even when they don't feel like they quite work in your life for a little while?
