Lust Object: …Sneakers?

I do not lust over sneakers. Ever.

I buy them only when I have to, and manage to only "have to" once every decade or so.

I will make an exception for these. (They're a men's style, so you'd have to go down two sizes…or you could just get the equally cute women's version. I'm pretty into that grey/orange/blue combo, though.)

Herald Square Meetup

With Caroline of House of Harper at the Crocs 34th Street Flagship.

On Me: Huarache Wedge Sandals in Black (more outfit details coming up later this week).

On Thursday night, I co-hosted a summer kickoff event with Caroline of House of Harper (who is adorable and who I love hanging out with whenever I get the chance). On the menu: a raffle of a couple of copies of Ramshackle Glam and a shoe shopping spree, personalized summer style advice, and watermelon (oh my goodness, I ate so much watermelon).

Keep It Cool

Old Navy Cropped Linen Pants; Alice & Olivia Heels }

There's a lot going on right now.

Kendrick leaves this weekend (I'm not leaving for another couple of weeks), so we've spent the past three days on the phone pretty much constantly, trying to iron out details. I knew it would be stressful, but it's been interesting to me what aspects of this have stressed me out the most. I'm not especially worried about our living situation, for example: I figure if we all have beds and there is a coffee machine present, we're good. But I expected to be relatively laid-back about finding a doctor and a place to deliver - wouldn't I just end up going with whatever practice was closest to our apartment? - and…I'm not.

The Only Thing I Want To Wear

This tunic is the only thing I want to wear lately. I force myself to wear other things because it's weird to wear the same exact thing every single day (not to mention inconvenient re: constant running of washing machine), but I don't want to.

I want to wear this. It's light, and flattering, and goes with everything, and works as a top over shorts or jeans or as a cover-up at the beach or pool, and I love it and want to live in it for the rest of my life. Or at least for the rest of this pregnancy. (And maybe for a couple of months afterwards.)
