(That's me. It seems I've always been an OshKosh fan.)

Seychelles / The Loved One Event
Last night I stopped into the Seychelles fall preview, hosted by the lovely and sweet Keiko Lynn (if you don't already read her site, be sure to check it out for inspired style ideas and one of the cutest puppies I have ever seen). The site was co-hosted by lingerie and vintage clothing boutique The Loved One (some of their colorful vintage pieces are pictured above). The lingerie is very B-movie, very bombshell, and really less for sleeping/wearing under clothing and more for lounging (or whatevering) about glamorously.
See? Hot. (Check out the owner's beautiful blog here.)
Now, Seychelles. I've always been a fan of the line because a) I adore their vintage-y shapes, b) I like curvy wooden soles and feminine details, and c) they have lots of pretty flats and medium-height heels, which I may not have always been on board with, but as these feet get older and tireder become a stylish way to compromise.
Just: Aww
When we found out it was a boy, I thought: "Hey, that's cool. As long as I get to put him in a pair of blue-and-white striped OshKosh overalls, I can let go of the ruffly dress thing."
I Really Think You Should Go To The Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale
Because it is so, so good. The prices are still up there - hey, they're fancy bags - but the discounts are enough to be sorta thrilling (I'd estimate about 50% off for many styles).
Above: Mom's new M.A.C. clutch, in grey and ivory (which I've never even seen in stores). They have the M.A.C. in every possible color and pattern, along with tons and tons of other bags, wallets, and coin purses...but probably not for long. So run! RUN! And tell me what you end up getting :).
Today’s Journeys
For today's RTL interview (we chatted about Whitney Houston's Prince concert debacle) and various other appointments I went with red lipstick, pounds of Forever 21 jewelry (click here for those Rhinestone Tusk earrings), and my new Urban Outfitters sunglasses.
Plus cuffed jeans and Miz Mooz oxfords. I'm not usually a kickin'-around-town-in-skinnies-and-flats girl, but I sort of love this. My feet feel fantastic, and I haven't fallen once yet (granted, it's only 2:45...give me time).

Styleboard Inspiration
If you'd like to enter the Kaboodle contest I mentioned earlier, here's my styleboard of Wish List items - this is the kind of thing you'd be creating.

And While We’re At It…
This can sit in the yard next to my Sun Jars.

DIY Sun Jar
I love these.
I don't love that they're around $45, but apparently they're pretty easy to make yourself.
Things I Never Thought I’d Do
I walked on a runway once. I was fifteen, and I got to wear the finale wedding dress during a fashion show at Javitz Center. I was carried back up the runway by two male models. It was awesome.
I figured my runway days ("day," really) were long, loooong gone, and that's a good thing...but then Kaboodle asked me to walk in a show during Internet Week this coming June. And despite the fact that I will be thirty years old and over five months pregnant, I said yes.
Why?
Because I will be thirty years old and over five months pregnant. On a runway. And I think that's pretty cool. Maybe a little brave? (Definitely terrifying. Pleasedon'tfall.)
Dinner Suggestion
Peanut butter, Fluffernutter and banana sandwiches.
Why not? That's what I'm having.
