I actually didn't know anything about the project (including who was in it) when I showed up on-set - Lee had called me just a couple of days earlier and asked if I was free to come to Rhode Island to play a bridesmaid. My response: "I'm sort of...pregnant...? Is that OK?"

The working-mom guilt, the feeling of never being able to devote enough of yourself to either your job or your child...it's stuff that we've all heard before. But to hear it said out loud by other women you admire...it's pretty intensely relieving.
I just got home, and I am grumpy.
