Basically, a bralette is a soft bra (no padding or underwire) that often extends partway down the body to form a sort of crop-top. I once wore a sequin one in public (paired with silk harem pants); this isn't something I necessarily recommend.

Yeah, I know: 'tis the season for sparkle, and merry brightness, and heels and such...but I can't. This weather just makes me want to burrow down into soft things and stay put.
Holiday Adventures With Lucy
I spent the afternoon getting holiday makeup tips from Taymour over at Paul Labrecque (more on that to come), and the purples and golds that he layered onto my lids inspired my wine-hued outfit for the evening's events (the Toys for Dogs Humane Society Benefit followed by a holiday party at 44 1/2).
