Bliss Fabulips Event
At last night's Bliss event over at the W on Lex, with Casey (whose company was hosting). The event was held to celebrate the release of the Fabulips Treatment Kit, which is basically a mini-facial for, yes, your lips (it's offered as an add-on to any facial treatment at Bliss Spas, or you can purchase the products at Sephora).
These tomato tartlets have nothing to do with lips or spa treatments, but were so weirdly delicious that I had to show them to you anyway. They're just little cracker cups filled with diced tomatoes, mint, cheese, and a couple of seed (or maybe nut?) things...but whoa, good. You can make your own mocked-up version by piling some diced tomatoes, finely sliced mint leaves, and some mild shredded cheese onto a regular old store-bought cracker.

iPhone 5 Being Released on Sprint
Woo! The iPhone 5 is launching simultaneously on Sprint, AT&T & Verizon sometime "in mid-October." Sprint will also be getting the iPhone 4 around the same time. (Read the WSJ article here.)
Excellent news for Sprint users. Also: finally, jeez.
Vipre Antivirus Software Giveaway
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sunbelt Software for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
No one likes viruses, correct?
And while the common cold isn't high on the list of life's great pleasures, it's computer viruses that really freak me out. Like many of you, I am more or less married to my laptop, and I would be in an absolute panic were it ever to shut down on me. (I think it was that episode of SATC where Carrie "Sad Mac-ed" and lost all her work that made me so paranoid about the possibility...although as a sidenote, that episode did have the happy effect of making me at least an occasional backer-upper.)
VIPRE Antivirus software (for PCs) melds together antivirus and antispy software to maximize your computer's speed (because it doesn't pull on too many resources) while providing total protection against malware threats. Basically, because it's a combo tool it's capable of keeping everything clicking along at a nice pace, so you avoid the sluggishness that you may associate with older antivirus programs. And, as a bonus, it comes with free U.S.-based technical support.
Totally Fine
I titled this post "Totally Fine" because I think that's how you should kick off any post that includes a photo of yourself (or anyone, really) in a hospital bed.

“Street” Style: Flowers In The Grass
Consider this a Street Style post, if the "street" was actually my aunt's backyard, and the "anonymous stylish person" was actually my cousin Haylie, who showed up to dinner looking so lovely and season-appropriate that I had to pull her onto the lawn for a few photos.
Accessible Decor: Peaceful, Easy Feeling
If you mentally remove the furnishings, this looks like everyone in the world's first apartment...or at least it certainly looks like mine (white walls, beige carpet, generally personality-free), so it gives me the warm and fuzzies.
