First order of business: get lost. Surprised? I didn't think so.
Tata Harper Skincare / Wellness & Facials
Tuesday afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting Tata Harper, CEO and Woman's Health Advocate, and Keri Waxer, Founding Ambassador of Tata Harper Skincare. Tata Harper is a Vermont-based skincare and wellness company that uses 100% natural and non-toxic ingredients. Approximately 70% of the ingredients are organic, and 30% are grown in Tata's facility on Julius Kingdom Farm (in the Champlain Valley of Vermont).
I arrived at the UWS apartment with a clean face and an open mind. Keri gave me a great intro to each product and told me a bit about the history behind Tata's mission. And then - yay! - it was off to the back room for my "mini facial." While Tata (below right) gave a Style.com contributor her mini facial, Keri (below left) applied mine.
Spotted In The Airport
Something I want:
(I've been salivating over those big gold boyfriend-type watches for awhile now, but am feeling oversized and silver for the summer. At $210, Swatch's are rationalizable-ish.)

After an early-morning gym session (leaf: overturned) and quick steam, I headed to a meeting with the resort execs to find out more about the Park Royal Grand.

Head over to the Community to find out! (It involves sexy bartenders and noodles).
Cocktail Party At Roman’s
There’s something about a great cocktail that makes any time a good one (Psst, Kim: I think it has something to do with the booze).
Back from Xcaret!
Nadine and I just got back from a long day of cave-swimming and dolphin watching at Xcaret (about an hour out of Cancun), and are currently parked in the lounge for a rushed work/bond session before I have to say goodbye to this stunning place and go to sleep for at least four hours in preparation for tomorrow's early-morning flight to San Diego (for Morgan's wedding).
Afternoon Cooking Lesson / Guacamole Secret!
Yesterday I said I'd share the "secret ingredients" that make for perfect guacamole (according to the chef at the Park Royal Grand, at least), and here it they are:
Afternoon Cocktail Lesson / Poisonous Frog
Tuesday afternoon's "lesson" at the Park Royal Grand came courtesy of some visitors from Senor Frog's, who taught the enthusiastic assembled guests how to concoct something called a "Poisonous Frog." Next time a yard-long plastic drinking vessel comes your way, you'll know what to do!
