Hmm…

OK, I have officially entered another dimension. I arrived home to find a sparklingly clean apartment, two just-bathed-and-walked dogs...and freshly baked (Pillsbury, but STILL) chocolate chip cookies sitting atop the oven.

After a delicious breakfast of croissants, fresh fruit, and yes, a wee bit of champagne...I'm outta here. Can I object?

Yuca Inn

The Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe, where we're staying, is lovely, but if it's out of your budget range there are tons of more affordable options in the area. Yesterday, while wandering through town, Marianne and I stumbled across the absolutely charming Yuca Inn Hostel.

BetterTV Shoot #5: Restaurants

For our very last shoot, we headed over to Lotus Restaurant, where I discovered that I am really not very good at the cooking technique pictured above (I believe it's called teppanyaki style...the showy, flippy thing they do at Benihana's). I basically pushed some vegetables around, and then gave up and handed it over to the master. I did, however, learn a totally simple recipe for vegetable fried rice.
